It is fun watching the Dems get hoisted on their own politically correct petard with the "lipstick on a pig" line -- and it should be noted that Obama's offensive remark was not only sexist but also homosexist as only females and gay men are apt to wear lipstick. But now that Palin and McCain have raised the rhetorical standard for this campaign, they must be especially careful with their own language.
For example, pray that we never here Palin say, "When I was in Alaska, I was not afraid to call a spade a spade" or McCain say something like, "When it comes to spending the people's money, I am more niggardly than my opponent."
Meantime, let's enjoy the moment, and give Sarah the Huntress credit for setting the lipstick trap. That's why I say, let Sarah be Sarah. But Sarah, be careful.
